Rolando Lara Memorial Lecture

Carlo Ginzburg, a pioneer of microhistory and among the most influential
intellectuals of our time, whose work crosses multiple disciplines,
including history, art history, philosophy, anthropology, literature,
classics, sociology and the history of science, will be hosted by
the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures the first week of
November 2009. He will give the Rolando Lara Memorial Lecture on Monday, November
2, at 8p.m. in Whitaker Hall Auditorium on "Copies, Facsimiles, and the InvisibleText."
