Prof. Messbarger Receives Awards

Prof. Rebecca Messbarger has been awarded two prizes for her article "The Re-Birth of Venus in Florence’s Royal Museum of Physics and Natural History." She is the winner of the 2012-13 James L. Clifford Prize from the American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies and she is also the recipient of the Southeastern American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies Percy Adams Prize for 2013. Her article appeared in The Oxford Journal of the History of Collections, May 16, 2012.
