Jody Doran

Jody Doran has returned to the U.S after having lived in Madrid, Spain, for twenty-five years, where she worked in translation, interpreting, communication, editing and advertising. Her publications include an English translation of selected works of the Spanish philosopher Javier Muguerza and a Spanish translation of the mathematics book For All Practical Purposes. She earned her M.A. in Linguistics from Washington University in St. Louis.

She is currently teaching Spanish Level I and Oral Communication II, is the Coordinator for Spanish Level I and II Subsections, and has worked with the Department’s Latino Community Outreach Program.
