Congratulations to Olivia Lott (ABD, Hispanic Studies), who has received the Marilyn Yarbrough Dissertation/Teaching Fellowship at Kenyon College for 2021-22 academic year.
The Marilyn Yarbrough Dissertation/Teaching Fellowship is awarded to scholars in the final stages of their doctoral work who need only to finish the dissertation to complete requirements for the Ph.D. The fellowship was named in honor of the late Marilyn Yarbrough, Kenyon parent, trustee, legal scholar, and university administrator who was a former editor of the Black Law Journal and a member of the Pulitzer Prize Board.
More information on the program can be found here.
Lott is also a finalist for the 2021 PEN Award for Poetry in Translation for her translation of Katabasis by Lucía Estrada.
