Hope Hecht is a PhD student in French Language and Literature at Washington University in St. Louis. Hope obtained her BA in Modern Languages and Cultures from Northern Arizona University in 2022. Afterwards, Hope went on to complete her MA in French at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2024.
Hope's current research revolves around ideas of marriage and the medieval body. Hope's book reviews appear in the Society and Culture section in The French Review.
When Hope is not on the Danforth campus, she is rock climbing, exploring local restaurants, and volunteering for local organizations.
