French for Health at WashU: Innovation in Higher Education

Organized by Lionel Cuillé, Director of the French Connexions Center of Excellence, in collaboration with colleagues from Johns Hopkins University (Dereck Shilling), the University of Florida (Rori Bloom), and the University of Virginia (Ari Blatt), this bilingual workshop (English and French) is designed for faculty and administrators who want to reimagine the role of French in higher education.
Through case studies and discussion, participants will discover how the FPS pathway at WashU has emerged as an innovative track capable of attracting a new generation of STEM and pre-med students to French, while strengthening advanced coursework in literature and culture.
