José Patricio Sullivan (Santiago, 1987) is a second-year PhD student in the Hispanic Studies program and a McDonnell Academy Scholar. He earned a B.A. in Hispanic Literature at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and is currently defending his dissertation for a MA in Literary Theory and Hispanic Literature at Universidad de Chile. His main research area is Southern Cone contemporary literature, in topics such as science fiction, materiality, and postdictatorial representations.
