Professor Schraibman's fields of interest include 19th and 20th century Spanish Literature, the Three Religions in Spain, Literature, and the Inquisition in Spain, Latin-America, Portugal, and Brazil. His interests also extend to various aspects of Cuban history and literature.
Schraibman has been the recipient of various honors, including two Fulbright grants, an ACLS grant, and a Galdos prize in the Canary Islands. He was a Spring 2008 Fellow in the Center for the Humanities at Washington University, and is on the Library Committee on Acquisitions. He also interviews prospective Hispanic students for admission to Washington University.
