Juan Pablo Rodriguez Argente's research examines the origin of modern literature through the study of medieval hunting manuals, exploring how autobiography, satire and criticism proliferate in this genre at the end of the fifteenth century in Castile.

Juan Pablo Rodriguez Argente's work has appeared in La Coronica: A Journal of Medieval Hispanic Languages, Literatures & Cultures and numerous edited scholarly volumes.  

Juan Pablo has also trained in the field of Teaching Methodology. He obtained a Second Language Acquisition Certificate in the Yale Center for Language Studies where he was a Fellow of the Mellon-funded Shared Courses Initiative. 

His recent courses taught include SPAN 102 and SPAN 202. He is Editorial Associate for the Revista de Estudios Hispánicos.
