Nelson Pardiño is a Spanish Lecturer in the Romance Languages Department, concentrating in second language pedagogy through meaning-oriented instruction. He is, presently, ABD in Peninsular Spanish Literature, with a minor in Spanish American Literature, from Florida International University. His academic interests range from Caribbean Intellectual History, Cuban Literature and Cinema to Spanish Post War narrative.
Courses taught at Washington University include the Elementary Sequence of Spanish 101 and 102, Intermediate Grammar and Composition, Cultures and Communication in the Spanish-Speaking World II, and Spanish for the Social Sciences.
