Renzo Rivas Echarri is a PhD student in Hispanic Studies at Washington University in St. Louis. He holds a B.A. in Humanities with a major in Linguistics and Literature and a Degree in Hispanic Literature from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). He has published articles in literary criticism journals, as well as participated as a speaker in different academic events. His areas of research include the relationship between aesthetics and politics, literary theory, ecocriticism and contemporary non-mimetic and speculative fiction in Latin America.
