Intermediate French 1

FRENCH 203D

This interactive course explores the richness and diversity of the Francophone world and important contemporary issues such as social justice, inequalities, and the influence of media on society. Using an innovative approach based on lived experience, students will strengthen their abilities and accuracy in speech and writing and will considerably expand their vocabulary. Multi-media activities include films, readings, songs, virtual museum tours, and group projects. Prerequisite: Fr 102D or equivalent. (Usually recommended for students with 3 years of high school French [7th and 8th grades together count as 1 year]). Director: Jouane.
