Three Arts & Sciences students participate in Q&A with Leïla Slimani

At the inaugural Francophonie Festival, three Washington University undergraduate students participated in a Q&A talk with French writer Leïla Slimani. Ivan Vargas, Lingran Zhang, and Karen Dordor asked questions over Zoom of Silmani, who is a frequent commentator on women’s and human rights in France.

The Francophonie Festival was organized by the French Embassy in the United States. WashU’s French Connexions Cultural Center was recently named a French Embassy Center of Excellence.
