Shirley Veronica Anghel is a PhD Candidate in the Hispanic Studies program at Wash U. She specializes in feminist critical engagements with Catholic Christianity in Iberia and the Anglo-American world. She received her MA in Comparative Literature from Dartmouth College in 2013.
